The 2009 M is a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury sports sedan, available in 4 trims, ranging from the 35 to the 45x. Upon introduction, the 35 is equipped with a standard 3.5-liter, V6, 303-horsepower engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 25-mpg on the highway. A 7-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard. The 45x is equipped with a standard 4.5-liter, V8, 325-horsepower engine that achieves 14-mpg in the city and 20-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard. The 2009 M is a carryover from 2008.
