The 2008 Savana Passenger Van is a 3- or 4-door, up to 15-passenger full size van, available in 8 trims, ranging from the LS G1500 Regular Wheelbase RWD to the LT G3500 Extended Wheelbase RWD. Upon introduction, the LS G1500 Regular Wheelbase RWD is equipped with a standard 5.3-liter, V8, 301-horsepower engine that achieves 12-mpg in the city and 16-mpg on the highway. The LT G3500 Extended Wheelbase RWD is equipped with a standard 6.0-liter, V8, 323-horsepower engine. A 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims. The 2008 Savana Passenger Van is a carryover from 2007.
